
BeezleBug Bit, LLC represents the computer animation and direction of Lee Lanier. His work has played over 200 festivals, museums, and galleries worldwide. Before founding BeezleBug Bit, Lee served as a Senior Animator on Antz and Shrek at Pacific Data Images/Dreamworks. He also put in time at Walt Disney Studios creating digital special effects for live action features and spent several years working as a Script Supervisor on various Hollywood productions.
Since 1999, Lee has produced, directed, and animated five award-winning short films ("Millennium Bug," "Mirror," "Day Off The Dead," "Weapons of Mass Destruction," and "Thirteen Ways to Die at Home"). He's also directed and animated several trailers, commercials, web series, and music videos.
Lee has also authored advanced software books, which have sold over 10,000 copies. He is the co-founder and executive director of the Dam Short Film Festival. Now and then, he tinkers with digital painting and sculpting tiki mugs.
At present, Lee splits his time between Boulder City (just outside Las Vegas) and Los Angeles. When in L.A., he teaches for Gnomon.
