(San Francisco, CA and Dallas, TX) Top animators Lee Lanier and Jeffrey Dates have announced a collaborative animated short film entitled “DAY OFF The Dead” and have launched an official web site to detail its creation (http://www.DayOffTheDead.com).  “DAY OFF The Dead” will feature stunning computer graphics in the guise of endearing Day of the Dead folk characters, and will follow the humorous day-to-day adventures of these souls as they struggle to get through the Afterlife.

About Lee Lanier
Lee Lanier is the award-winning animator and director behind "Mirror" and "Millennium Bug." Lee’s films have played dozens of festivals worldwide, including the Sundance Film Festival and the Annecy Animation Festival.
