The demand for DOTD grows by the day. We've just ordered additional 35mm prints to deal with a very busy March-April. So far, we're batting around 80% - that is, 80% of the festivals we submit to, we get in! Gotta' love that.

Local festivals also include the Sedona International Film Festival and the East Lansing Film Festival.

Our man Brent made it to the Victoria Independent Film & Video Festival recently. The best thing he heard was an audience member saying "It's shorts like that that make we want to be an animator." We're blushing, really!

12-28-03
DOTD is on 35mm! The kind folk at DVFilm did a swell transfer for us, so we're looking forward to the 2004 festival season. Cinequest and Imagina have been added to the list too. Be sure to check our Screening Schedule on a regular basis - we might be coming to a neighborhood near you!

12-14-03
We wanna' thank the staff of the Santa Fe Film Festival for organizing a great event! Lotsa' fun. One highlight was having the DOTD video mixed live to the beat of some tasty trance music during the awards night party. Who said dead people weren't fun? Stay tuned for some more Celebrity Pics too.

Into the new year - looks like the Victoria Independent Film & Video Festival will be one of our first 2004 screenings.

We're back from SIGGRAPH 2003 San Diego, where we gave a sneak peak of "Day Off The Dead" at the Hash user group and Film Festival. It was received with much applause and fanfare! We can only hope that this signals the start of a successful run for the short film.

Also, while out at SIGGRAPH 2003 Jeffrey gave a "Making of.." demo at the Hash booth; complete with screening and exclusive behind-the-scenes goodies!! This, along with "animation techniques" will be sold along with other great demo's on tape and DVD from Hash's website soon!

While festival submissions have been ongoing, we've started to receive submission invitations! So be sure to check out the press section to see where we'll be in the up coming weeks!

So keep checking back! The store is still to come, as well as what we hope to be more "value added" content! Lots more to update! Also, the Crew would like to thank everyone who's been flooding us with email's to congratulate us on the film! It's been an overwhelming response and we're just thankful!

"Day Off The Dead" is a wrap! We're here to tell you it looks awesome! Now that we are showing the film there are new things in the works for "Day Off The Dead"!!

Web Updates: This site is getting an overhaul, which will allow us to update new content much more efficiently! Expect updates as often as news occurs. We're real proud of the our previous site, but realized that the amount of time it took to update could have been better spent in production...so updates were slow and far between. This time it'll be different! So keep checking back and we'll keep updating!!

In the near future we'll be offering the "Day Off The Dead" Swag Store, allowing everyone to sport around showing their Dead Spirit! Also, the Windows "Day Off The Dead" Theme including, sounds, desktops, cursors, and icons will be available for download! Later this week I will upload a host of new Promotional Hi-Resolution stills from the film! All new content, and we're really excited about it!!

Sneak Peak! If you are in San Diego next week, stop on by the convention center and visit us at the Hash booth at Siggraph 2003! We'll be talking Tuesday and Wednesday at 5pm about the making of "Day Off The Dead". We'll also be showing scenes at the booth, and giving a complete viewing at the Hash User's Group Meeting!

So tell all your friends and keep checking back!!

Thanks from all the DeadFolk here at "Day Off The Dead"
